🔧 Viewing and Managing Pre-Starts in the Assets Register

📍 Where to Find Pre-Starts

For admin users, all completed pre-starts are automatically stored within the Assets Register.
To view a pre-start:

  1. Go to Registers → Assets.

  2. Click View next to the asset you wish to check.

  3. Navigate to the Inspections tab — you’ll find the pre-start listed there.


📩 Setting Up Pre-Start Notifications

If you’d like to receive an email notification whenever a staff member completes a pre-start, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings → Departments.

  2. Select the department you belong to.

  3. Under Department Supervisors, add yourself as a Pre-Start Notification Recipient.

Once enabled, you’ll receive an email each time a pre-start is completed by a staff member from that department.
The completed pre-start will also be stored against the corresponding asset in the system.
