Trades and Non-Producing Types.

Trades and Non-Producing Types allow users to describe their timesheet entries in more detail.

Every Trade entry listed in your Trades tab will appear in a drop down list for your staff to choose and enter a timesheet on a Job.

Every Non-Producing Type entry listed in your Non-Producing Types tab will appear a drop-down list for your staff to choose and enter a non-producing timesheet in the staff App, or Staff Times tab.

Trades

The Trades tab in Settings is where you can manage your trades descriptions that are used when staff are entering timesheets on a job in the Staff App as well as manual timesheet entries in the Timesheets Tab of a Job.

To add a new Trade to the list simply enter the name of the trade in the Trades field and press Create.

To delete a Trade from the list, press the X button next to the trade to be deleted, this will prevent future timesheet entries using this trade name.

Non-Producing Types

The Non-Producing Types tab in Settings is where you can manage Non-Producing Type descriptions that are used when staff are entering timesheets in the Staff App as well as manual timesheet entries in Staff Times Menu.

To add a new Non-Producing Type to the list simply enter the name of the Non-Producing type in the Non-Producing Types field as well as the External ID (if applicable) that is commonly used your payroll process and then press Create.

To Edit a Non-Producing Type from the list, press the Pencil Icon.

To Delete a Non-Producing Type from the list, press the X button next to the NP Type to be deleted, this will prevent future timesheet entries using this Trade name.

Handy Hint-After you have created your Non-Producing Type you can edit these to include a Meal Allowance to all timesheet entries that are submitted for that Non-Producing Type, simply press the Pencil Icon and ensure that Meal Allowance check box is ticked.
