The Hour Utilisation section under the Reporting tab provides an overview of labour allocation and mobilised hours across each department within your company.
This report works alongside the Swings Tab found in each staff profile. The Swings Tab is used to define a staff member’s work schedule or roster pattern — for example, 2 weeks on / 1 week off, or 7 days on day shift, 2 days off, then 7 days on night shift.
If no swing is set for a staff member, the system assumes they have unlimited availability, which can impact the accuracy of available hour calculations in the Hour Utilisation report.
Each department’s total hours are displayed under the following categories:
Available Hours – The total number of hours staff are available to work, based on their swing setup in their profiles.
Booked Hours – The total number of hours recorded in submitted timesheets.
Remaining Hours – The total number of hours still available (not yet booked or mobilised).
Below each department, you’ll also find pie charts showing the percentage of booked hours per client.
A bar chart will show up in the bottom of the screen to show the booked mobilized hours and remaining hours available per department.
