What Is SprintSuite?

SprintSuite is a system your employer uses to manage jobs, people, safety, and compliance across sites and projects. As an apprentice, you’ll use SprintSuite mainly to make sure you’re cleared for site, up to date with training, and where you need to be.

You don’t need to know everything about SprintSuite — just the parts that apply to you.

Why Your Employer Uses SprintSuite

SprintSuite helps employers:

  • Keep sites safe and compliant

  • Make sure the right people are on the right jobs

  • Track training, tickets, and inductions

  • Reduce paperwork and admin

For apprentices, this means:

  • Fewer last-minute issues before site entry

  • Clear expectations about what’s required

  • Less chasing paperwork

What You’ll Use SprintSuite For

As an apprentice, you’ll typically use SprintSuite to:

  • Complete site or job inductions

  • Upload or confirm tickets and qualifications

  • Check you’re cleared for the site or job you’re on

  • Receive job or site-related information

Your employer or supervisor will let you know what actions you need to complete.

What You’re Responsible For (And What You’re Not)

You are responsible for:

  • Completing inductions when requested

  • Providing correct training or ticket information

  • Letting your employer know if something expires or changes

  • Following site rules and safety requirements

You’re not responsible for:

  • Setting up the system

  • Managing other workers’ records

  • Deciding site compliance rules

  • Approving training or tickets

If you’re unsure what to do, ask — it’s always better than guessing.

Training, Tickets & Compliance

SprintSuite helps employers track training and compliance using a training matrix. This helps make sure everyone on site is:

  • Properly trained

  • Qualified for their role

  • Compliant with site requirements

You’ll never be expected to work on a site you’re not cleared for.

Staying on top of your training helps avoid delays and keeps everyone safe.

Using SprintSuite in the Field

SprintSuite is designed to be used on site, in the field, and in the workshop — not just from a computer. Depending on where you’re working, you’ll interact with SprintSuite in different ways.

Your supervisor or employer will let you know what applies to you.

The Field Service App

The SprintSuite Field Service App is used by crews working on jobs and sites. It helps capture important information as work happens — not after the fact.

Using the app, you may be asked to:

  • Sign in to a job or site

  • Complete pre-starts before work begins

  • Complete vehicle or equipment checks

  • Submit information while you’re on site

  • Get sign-offs completed in the field

This reduces paperwork and helps make sure safety and compliance steps are completed properly.

Good to know:

Ticket and qualification visibility in the app is coming soon. For now, the app focuses on job sign-ins, safety checks, and field workflows.

Signing In to Jobs on the App

When you’re scheduled to work on a job or site, you may be required to sign in using the Field Service App. This helps confirm:

  • Who is on site

  • When work starts and finishes

  • That required checks are completed

Always sign in as instructed — it’s an important part of site safety and compliance.

Pre-Starts & Vehicle Checks

Before starting work, you may be asked to complete:

  • Pre-start checks

  • Vehicle or equipment checks

These are done directly in the app and are designed to:

  • Identify issues early

  • Keep you and your crew safe

  • Record checks correctly for compliance

If something isn’t right, report it — that’s what the process is there for.

Getting Sign-Offs in the Field

SprintSuite allows approvals and sign-offs to happen while work is being done — not days later.

This may include:

  • Supervisor sign-offs

  • Job confirmations

  • Safety acknowledgements

This helps keep work moving and reduces admin back at the office.

Working in the Workshop? You’ll Use a Kiosk

If you’re based in a workshop, you’ll likely see a SprintSuite kiosk on site.

You’ll be given:

  • Your own unique code

  • Instructions on how to sign in and out of each shift

Using the kiosk helps track:

  • Attendance

  • Shift start and finish times

  • Who is on site at any given time

Always keep your code private and use it as instructed.

What If You’re Unsure What to Do?

If something doesn’t make sense or you’re not sure what’s required:

  • Ask your supervisor

  • Check with your employer or admin team

  • Don’t guess — it’s always okay to ask

Most actions in SprintSuite are quick and simple once you’ve done them once.

Key Things to Remember

  • SprintSuite supports safety, compliance, and smooth site operations

  • You’ll only be asked to do what’s relevant to your role

  • The app and kiosks are there to make things easier, not harder

  • New features will be added over time — your employer will let you know when things change

If You’re Unsure or Need Help

If you’re not sure what SprintSuite is asking you to do:

  • Talk to your supervisor or site contact

  • Ask your employer or admin team

  • Don’t ignore requests, ask early

Most issues are quick to fix when raised early.
