📘 Invoice PO Back to Client – How It Works

This feature allows you to control whether Purchase Requests (PRs) are automatically set to be invoiced back to your client.


⚙️ Where to Find It

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Billable Companies

  3. Open Invoice Settings

  4. Toggle “Invoice PO Back to Client” on or off


🔄 How It Works

  • When the toggle is ON:

    • All new Purchase Requests will default to Invoice back to client = Yes

  • When the toggle is OFF:

    • PRs will not default to being invoiced back to the client


✏️ Overriding Per Purchase Request

Even with the setting enabled, you can still update this on individual PRs:

  1. Create or open a Purchase Request

  2. Locate the Invoice back to client option

  3. Change it to Yes or No as needed


💡 Why Use This?

  • Reduces manual steps when raising PRs

  • Keeps invoicing consistent across jobs

  • Still gives flexibility for exceptions
