⏱️ Kiosk Job Pre-Selection for Clock In/Out

🔍 Overview

If you’re using the Clock In/Out (Kiosk) feature, you can streamline the process by pre-selecting a job for the day.

When enabled, all Proof of Presence (POP) entries logged through the kiosk will automatically be assigned to that job—removing the need for staff to select a job each time they clock in or out.


⚙️ How to Enable

📍 Navigate to: Settings → Timesheet Settings

Steps:

  1. Enable Kiosk Job Pre-Selection

  2. Select a Supervisor

    • This user will have permission to:

      • Set the job for the day

      • Update or change the selected job as needed


🧩 How It Works

  • A job is pre-selected on the kiosk for the day

  • Staff using the kiosk will:

    • Clock in/out as normal

    • No longer need to choose a job

  • All POP entries are automatically linked to the selected job


✅ Benefits

  • Faster clock in/out process for staff

  • Reduces manual errors when selecting jobs

  • Ensures all timesheets are correctly allocated

  • Ideal for site-based or single-job work environments


⚠️ Notes

  • Only the selected Supervisor can manage or update the job assigned to the kiosk

  • If no job is set, staff may still be required to select a job manually (depending on setup)
