πŸ’³ Setting Up Invoice Payment Terms in Clients

This guide shows you how to set up Invoice Payment Terms so your invoice due dates are automatically populated.


πŸ“ Where to Find It

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Clients

  3. Click Edit on a client


βš™οΈ Setting Invoice Payment Terms

  1. In the client profile, locate the Invoice Payment Terms field

  2. Select your preferred payment terms (e.g. 45, 60, 90 days from end of month or other options)

  3. Click Save

βœ… These terms will now automatically pre-populate the due date when creating invoices for this client.


🌐 Apply Default Terms to All Clients (Optional)

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Clients

  2. Set your preferred Invoice Payment Terms

  3. Apply/save to roll out across all clients

βœ… All clients will inherit these default terms (unless overridden individually)


✏️ Override for a Specific Client

  • You can update the Invoice Payment Terms at any time in the client profile

  • This will override any global/default settings


🧾 Using Payment Terms in Invoices

  • When creating an invoice, the due date will auto-fill based on the client’s payment terms

  • You can still manually change the due date if needed

  • Quote Payment Terms are now separate from Invoice Payment Terms

  • Make sure you’re updating the correct field depending on your workflow
