Overview
You can flag receipts to be invoiced back to your client directly from the job.
When uploading a receipt, simply select the “Invoice back to client” option, and the receipt will be available to include during Do & Charge invoicing.
How to Mark a Receipt to Invoice Back to a Client
Navigate to your Job
Go to the Receipts tab
Upload a new receipt (or edit an existing one)
Tick the “Invoice back to client” option
Save the receipt
✅ The receipt is now flagged and ready to be invoiced
How to Use the Receipt When Invoicing
Navigate to Invoicing → Create Do & Charge Invoice
When adding items to the invoice, locate the Receipts section
Select the relevant receipt(s)
Add them to the invoice
✅ The selected receipt will now appear on the invoice for the client
Notes
Only receipts with “Invoice back to client” selected will appear during invoicing
You can choose which receipts to include on each invoice
This helps ensure recoverable costs are clearly tracked and passed on to clients
