🧾 Receipts: Invoice Back to Client

Overview

You can flag receipts to be invoiced back to your client directly from the job.

When uploading a receipt, simply select the “Invoice back to client” option, and the receipt will be available to include during Do & Charge invoicing.


How to Mark a Receipt to Invoice Back to a Client

  1. Navigate to your Job

  2. Go to the Receipts tab

  3. Upload a new receipt (or edit an existing one)

  4. Tick the “Invoice back to client” option

  5. Save the receipt

✅ The receipt is now flagged and ready to be invoiced


How to Use the Receipt When Invoicing

  1. Navigate to Invoicing → Create Do & Charge Invoice

  2. When adding items to the invoice, locate the Receipts section

  3. Select the relevant receipt(s)

  4. Add them to the invoice

✅ The selected receipt will now appear on the invoice for the client


Notes

  • Only receipts with “Invoice back to client” selected will appear during invoicing

  • You can choose which receipts to include on each invoice

  • This helps ensure recoverable costs are clearly tracked and passed on to clients
