✨ Quote Templates: Rich Text Editor & Custom Section Titles

Overview

We’ve upgraded Quote Templates to give you more flexibility and control over how your quote content is displayed.

You can now use a rich text editor, customise section titles, and ensure formatting like bullet points and bold text is preserved on generated quotes.


What’s New

  • Rich text editor for:

    • Assumptions & Qualifications

    • Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Customisable section titles

  • Bulleted lists and bold formatting are preserved on generated quotes

  • Section titles are saved with the template and applied to new quotes

  • Ability to edit these sections directly from the Quote Details page


How to Set Up in Quote Template Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings → Quote Settings → Quote Templates

  2. Open an existing template or create a new one

  3. Locate the sections:

    • Assumptions & Qualifications

    • Inclusions & Exclusions

  4. Enter your content using the rich text editor

    • Add bullet points

    • Apply bold formatting

    • Insert tables if required

  5. Update the section titles using the title field above each editor

  6. Click Save

✅ Your formatting and titles will now be applied to any quotes created using this template


How to Edit from the Quote Details Page

  1. Navigate to a Quote

  2. Open the Quote Details page

  3. Locate the:

    • Assumptions & Qualifications section

    • Inclusions & Exclusions section

  4. Edit the content directly using the rich text editor

  5. Update the section titles if required

  6. Save your changes

✅ Changes made here will apply to that specific quote


Notes

  • Formatting (including bullet points, bold text, and tables) will be preserved on generated quotes

  • Template changes apply to new quotes moving forward

  • Edits made in the Quote Details page only affect that individual quote
