How to Connect the Chart of Accounts.
Open SprintPay > Business > Payroll Settings > Integrations > Add (select the appropriate accounting software, Xero is used for this example)
Business Settings > Chart of Accounts > Import Accounts
Update the Default Accounts and any categories that are necessary > Save
Note: Location Specific Accounts can be added for further customisations
Who should confirm the chart of accounts mapping?
The client’s accountant or finance team should confirm which payroll categories map to which accounts.
SprintSuite can assist with the system steps, but accounting treatment should be confirmed by the client’s finance team.
Can location-specific accounts be used?
Yes. Location-specific accounts can be added where the client needs more detailed financial reporting or different cost allocation by location.
