When you need this
You need to stop using the live connection, restore it after a change, or clear a temporary “can’t reach Greentree” warning without wiping saved credentials.
Before you start
You are on Settings → Integrations → Greentree → Credentials.
You understand Disconnect clears the live connection timestamp; credentials can be kept.
Steps
Disconnect
On Credentials, click Disconnect.
Confirm when prompted (“Disconnect from Greentree? You can reconnect with the saved or updated credentials.”).
Status becomes disconnected. Synced catalogues and mappings are not deleted.
Reconnect
With credentials still saved (or newly entered), click Save & connect.
Wait for a successful Ping → Connected.
Retry (false or transient unreachable)
If the top bar shows Sprintsuite can’t reach Greentree but saved credentials are unchanged, click Retry Connecting.
On-load status re-checks are non-destructive: a failed re-check shows Retry; it does not clear a previously good connection by itself.
If Retry still fails, use Disconnect then Save & connect with corrected values, or ask your network/Greentree admin to restore reachability.
What success looks like
After reconnect: green Connected.
After Disconnect: disconnected, with catalogues still present for when you reconnect.
If it fails
Retry loops with unreachable → tunnel, proxy, firewall, or Greentree IIS/API down — not a mapping issue.
Sync mid-flight clears Connected with “Lost connection…” → reconnect on Credentials, then re-run the Sync.
