πŸ“₯ Upload an Entire Project Quote

Updated over 3 weeks ago

The Upload Entire Quote feature allows you to quickly create a full quote by importing an Excel or CSV file. This lets you upload Deliverables, Tasks, and Resources in one step instead of adding them manually.

πŸ› οΈ How to Upload a Quote

  1. Open the Project in the Admin Portal.

  2. Go to the Quote tab.

  3. Click Upload CSV in the top right.

  4. Select Entire Quote.

  5. Upload your CSV or Excel file.

⚠️ Note: The upload option only becomes available once a Project Title has been created.

βš™οΈ Import Options

When uploading your file, choose how the data should be applied:

Add
Adds the new items from your file to the bottom of your existing quote.

Overwrite
Replaces the entire quote with the uploaded file. Existing deliverables, tasks, and resources will be deactivated before the new data is imported.

πŸ“ File Structure

Your file must follow the correct hierarchy so SprintSuite can organise the quote correctly.

Deliverable
Main project phase.

Task
Work item under a Deliverable.

Resource
Labour, assets, materials, or costs linked to a Task.

The file is read from top to bottom, so items are grouped under the level above them.
