You can mark Deliverables in a project quote as Optional. This allows you to offer additional services or pricing options to clients without including them in the main quote total.
⚙️ How Optional Items Work
Excluded from Quote Total
Optional deliverables are not included in the main subtotal or grand total of the quote.
Clearly Labelled
Optional items are tagged with an Optional badge in the quote builder so they are easy to identify.
Displayed Separately in the Quote PDF
When the quote is exported, optional deliverables appear in a dedicated Optional Items section on the PDF.
This section is displayed separately from the main quote so clients can clearly see which items are optional.
🛠️ How to Mark a Deliverable as Optional
Go to Projects.
Select the Project.
Open the Quotes tab.
Open an existing Quote or create a new one.
Locate the Deliverable you want to make optional.
Toggle the Optional option on that line item.
⚠️ Note: You may need to exit the row editing mode to access the Optional toggle.
📄 Quote PDF Behaviour
When a quote is exported:
Optional deliverables are grouped into a separate "Optional Items" section.
Each item is clearly labelled (Optional).
The main quote total only reflects required items.
