When you need this
A Sprintsuite job or project must reference an existing Greentree JC Job code (for invoice lines and other Greentree checks) without creating a new Greentree job from Sprintsuite.
Note: Link is one path. New jobs can also Create/save sync to Greentree when Job Sync is on — see Sync a job to Greentree (create / update).
Before you start
Greentree is connected for the job’s billable company.
You know the Greentree Job Code to attach.
Greentree Job Sync is enabled for your tenant so the Greentree Sync section appears on the job (follow on-screen enable messaging if the controls are hidden).
Steps
Open the job or project in Sprintsuite.
In the Greentree Sync section, find Link existing Greentree Job Code.
Enter the Greentree Job Code and click Link Greentree Job.
Confirm the job shows as linked / Synced with the Greentree Job ID.
What success looks like
The job shows the linked Greentree Job Code.
Invoice push no longer fails for “job not linked” when a job link is required.
If it fails
Code not found → confirm the code in Greentree and the company code on Credentials.
Already linked to another job → unlink or resolve the other job first.
Sync pending → wait, then link again.
