Link an existing Greentree Job Code to a job/project

A Sprintsuite job or project must reference an existing Greentree JC Job code (for invoice lines and other Greentree checks) without creating a new Greentree job from Sprintsuite.

When you need this

A Sprintsuite job or project must reference an existing Greentree JC Job code (for invoice lines and other Greentree checks) without creating a new Greentree job from Sprintsuite.

LIVE: Link existing only. JCJob create/update sync is omitted from this pack.

Before you start

  • Connected Greentree for the job’s billable company.

  • You know the Greentree Job Code to attach.

  • Greentree Job Sync enablement may be required by the product gate before the link control is available — follow on-screen enable messaging if shown.

Steps

  1. Open the job or project.

  2. In the Greentree Sync section, choose Link existing Greentree Job Code.

  3. Enter the Greentree Job Code and submit Link Greentree Job.

  4. Confirm status shows linked / Synced identity with the Greentree Job ID.

What success looks like

  • Job shows the linked Greentree Job Code.

  • Invoice push no longer fails for “job not linked” when a job link is required.

If it fails

  • Code not found → confirm code in Greentree and company code on Credentials.

  • Already linked to another job → unlink/resolve the other job first.

  • Sync pending → wait, then link.

  • Do not use Create in Greentree for this LIVE how-to.
