Map job statuses to Greentree

Map SprintSuite job statuses to Greentree so status changes, including closing jobs, update the JC Job.

When you need this

You want a job's status change in SprintSuite to update its JC Job in Greentree. For example, closing a job in SprintSuite closes it in Greentree. This keeps Greentree's active job count down and job costing tidy.

Job status mapping is switched on per company by SprintSuite. If you don't see the Job Statuses tab, ask your SprintSuite contact.

Before you start

  • Greentree is connected and Enable Job Sync is on under General.

  • Your role has Integrations tab: Read & Write.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Integrations → Greentree → Job Statuses for the billable company.

  2. Click Sync from Greentree to pull your Greentree job statuses. Inactive Greentree statuses can still be mapped and are marked as inactive.

  3. For each SprintSuite job status, pick the Greentree status it should set.

  4. Optionally tick IsClosed or IsFinalised for that row. You can tick one or neither, not both.

  5. Click Save Mapping.

What happens next

  • When a synced job's status changes, SprintSuite sends the mapped Greentree status and flags.

  • Map every status your jobs use. If a job moves to an unmapped status, the update fails.

  • Without status mapping, SprintSuite only sets Greentree's status to Active or Inactive from the job's active flag.

What success looks like

  • Changing a synced job's status updates the JC Job in Greentree, including closing it where mapped.

If it fails

  • Greentree status mapping is missing for this job's SprintSuite status → map that status here, save, then Re-Send to Greentree on the job.

  • A status you need isn't listed → add it in Greentree, then Sync from Greentree again.
