What is the Pay Run Report?
The Pay Run Report in SprintSuite helps you gather and export approved timesheet data for payroll processing. It includes staff names, job IDs, dates, shift times, total hours, and approval status — making it ready for import into platforms like Employment Hero or MYOB.
Key Features
Filter by Jobs or Staff to tailor your export.
Include Shifts by End Date range — useful for pay cycles.
See Approval Status to ensure only approved hours are paid.
Exported CSV includes all key data fields needed by payroll systems.
How to Use the Pay Run Report
Access the Report
Go to the Reporting section in SprintSuite.
Select Pay Run Report.
Filter Your Data
Choose to filter by:
Job ID or
Staff Name
(Optional) Tick the checkbox to only include timesheets that end within a specific date range.
Review the Report
Employee External ID – This value must be entered in each staff member’s profile under Details > Payroll ID. It's essential for Employment Hero users to ensure proper mapping.
Contractor Company
Date, including Start Time and End Time
Work Type External ID – To populate this for Employment Hero, ensure an External ID is added to each Shift Type in your Settings.
Units
Total Hours worked
Approved – Indicates whether the timesheet has been approved.
Location External ID – If you're using Employment Hero and wish to track timesheets by location, update the External Location ID in Settings > Locations.
Asset Categories
Number of Assets Used
Comments – Includes additional notes such as Timesheet Entry IDs.
Export the Data
Click Export CSV to download.
The file includes all the data needed for payroll processing.
Make sure to only upload TRUE timesheets which are timesheets that have been approved.
Uploading to Payroll Systems
Open your payroll platform (e.g., MYOB or Employment Hero).
Use the import function to upload the exported CSV.
Ensure column mapping aligns with your payroll fields.
Finalise your pay run.
