New Employee Set Up - Integration SprintSuite - SprintPay

To link the employee profile and timesheets from SprintSuite to SprintPay, an External ID number needs to be added to both platforms. This number does not need to be the Staff ID number but for ease of connection it is advised.

SprintSuite > Registers > Staff > Next to employee View

Copy Staff ID # > Details > Paste # in Payroll ID > Update Details

SprintPay > Employees > Select employee

Details > (Scroll to bottom) > External ID > Paste Staff ID # > Save

Do employees automatically match between SprintSuite and SprintPay?

No. There are no automatic checks available during the first employee import.

The best process is to download employee details from SprintPay / Employment Hero and compare them against the staff list in SprintSuite.

The key item to check is the employee external ID.

What happens if an employee does not exist in Employment Hero?

If a timesheet import includes an employee who does not exist in SprintPay / Employment Hero, an error will show that the external ID does not exist.

The employee needs to be added first, then the timesheets need to be imported again.
