πŸ—“οΈ Scheduler Roster Management – User Guide

Updated over 3 weeks ago

πŸ” Overview

The Staff Scheduler now includes Roster Pattern Management, making it easier to plan repeating schedules (like 2 weeks on, 1 week off).
Once set up, SprintSuite will automatically generate future mobilisations for your team.

πŸ“ How to Access Roster Management

  1. Go to Schedules β†’ Staff Scheduler

  2. Find the staff member

  3. Click their name or any day in their row

  4. Open the Staff Mobilisation window

  5. View Roster Patterns and Roster Plans

✨ Key Features

πŸ“… 1. Roster Pattern Management

Create repeating work schedules in just a few clicks.

  • Set On days (working) and Off days (rest/swing)

  • The system will automatically map future schedules

  • Perfect for ongoing, structured rosters

  • Saves templates so you can re-use them for other rosters

πŸ“ 2. Draft Roster Plans

When you apply a roster, it first appears as a Draft.

  • Shows as a placeholder in the scheduler

  • Can be moved, edited, or adjusted

  • Gives you full control before confirming

βœ… 3. Finalising Roster Plans

Turn drafts into live mobilisations:

  1. Open the Roster Plan

  2. Review upcoming dates

  3. Click Finalise Roster Plan

  4. System runs a compliance check

    • Staff must be active

    • Must have a user profile

Once complete β†’ mobilisations are confirmed.

πŸ’‘ Best Practice Tips

  • πŸ” Use for swing-based roles (FIFO / DIDO)

  • βœ”οΈ Check compliance first to avoid errors when finalising

  • ✏️ Use drag & drop to tweak individual days if plans change
