Custom Fields for Assets

Overview

SprintSuite allows you to add Custom Fields to your assets in Asset Registers, giving you more flexibility to capture additional asset information specific to your business.

Similar to custom fields in staff profiles, you can create your own fields, then enter those details directly against each asset. Any custom field data entered will also appear when exporting your asset register.

How to Set Up Asset Custom Fields

Step 1: Navigate to Asset Settings

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Asset Registers

  3. Open the Custom Fields section

Step 2: Create a Custom Field

  1. Click Add Field

  2. Enter the field name (for example: Serial Number, Inspection Frequency, Purchase Date, Compliance Notes)

  3. Select the field type required (depending on your setup)

  4. Click Save Field

Your custom field is now available across your asset records.

How to Add Custom Field Data to an Asset

Step 2: Update the Details Tab

The custom field information is now stored against that asset.
