When you need this
Work Centres are a Greentree catalogue used on Pay Types mappings. Sync them before you expect the Work Centre dropdowns to fill.
A Work Centre isn't a Profit Centre
A Work Centre is a Greentree job costing category for the type of labour, such as Field Service, Labour Hire or Components. A Profit Centre is the accounting unit your departments map to. They're separate catalogues on separate tabs, and mapping one doesn't fill the other.
The GreenTree timesheet CSV always leaves Wcentre blank. Syncing Work Centres doesn't change that.
Before you start
Greentree is connected on Credentials.
Your role has Integrations tab: Read & Write.
Steps
Open Settings → Integrations → Greentree → Pay Types.
Click Sync WorkCentres from Greentree.
Wait for the sync to finish, then check the Work Centre dropdowns on Pay Types rows.
Good to know
Work Centres removed in Greentree are deactivated in SprintSuite, not deleted, so existing mappings stay visible.
Supplier bills don't send a Work Centre. Greentree uses the activity code's default.
What success looks like
The Work Centre dropdowns on Pay Types list your Greentree codes.
If it fails
Dropdown still disabled → the sync hasn't completed. Run it again and check the Background Jobs tray.
Lost connection during sync → reconnect on Credentials, then sync again.
