Set Field / rostered on a job for CSV Activity

Set Field service or Rostered maintenance on a job so Pay Runs GreenTree CSV can resolve Activity via Combinations / Automatch.

When you need this

A timesheet line will resolve CSV Activity through Combinations / Automatch (no Pay Types activity mapping on that shift type). The composed code includes the job’s Field / rostered value.

This is not the job’s JCActivity tree field (job-sync only). Pay Runs CSV Activity never reads JCActivity.

Before you start

  • Greentree integration is on, and CSV timesheet export is enabled for a connected company.

  • Trade and shift-type letter codes (and Combinations) are set if you rely on Automatch.

Steps

  1. Open the job (or project) and click Edit.

  2. In the Greentree section, find Field / rostered.

  3. Choose Field service or Rostered maintenance.

  4. Save the job.

  5. When a pay-run export lists Field or rostered service kind is not set, return here and set the value, then export again.

What success looks like

  • The job shows Field service or Rostered maintenance.

  • CSV Activity can resolve via Combinations for that job (when trade and shift-type letters also match).

If it fails

  • Field / rostered missing on the form → confirm CSV export is enabled on a Greentree connection and you are editing the job details form.

  • Activity still blank → check Pay Types (absolute precedence) or Combinations mapping; Field/rostered is only one input.

  • Do not use JCActivity to “fix” CSV Activity — that field is for job sync only.
