These three areas share one post format: rich text, images, video, PDFs, reactions and optional acknowledgement quizzes. Each has its own page on the web and its own screen in the app.
| Feed | Jobs | Safety |
Used for | News, shout-outs and custom categories | Open roles only | Safety alerts only |
Category | Any feed category you choose | Locked to Jobs | Locked to Safety Alert |
Extra fields | None | Title, Location (display text), Department, Apply / more info link | Health & Safety event reference (admins, on Safety blasts categories, never shown to workers) |
Remove wording | Move to Trash | Close role | Remove alert |
Reactions | On by default | Settings, Jobs | Settings, Safety |
Jobs and safety alerts always have their own pages. Admins can also show them in the main Feed with Show jobs in Feed and Show safety alerts in Feed.
Create a post, job or safety alert
Anyone signed in on the web sees the composer on all three pages.
Open Feed, Jobs or Safety.
Write the content. For a job, fill in Title and Location first.
On Feed, choose a Category. Jobs and Safety set theirs automatically.
Set Visible to (leave empty for everyone), then any schedule, priority, lockout and question settings below.
Click Post, Post a job or Post a safety alert. If Go live is in the future, the button reads Schedule.
Only PDFs can be attached on these three pages. Add images and video with Insert image, Add video, Media library, or by pasting a YouTube or Vimeo link.
Who sees a post
Visible to targets posts by location only. Leave it empty for all locations, or pick one or more sites. There's no option to target a specific entity or named people.
On Jobs, the All locations filter uses the job's Visible to audience, not its Location display text.
Scheduling
Setting | Where | What it does |
Go live | On the post | Keeps the post hidden from workers until this time. Presets include In 1 hour, Tomorrow 9am and Next Monday 9am. |
Hide from feed | On the post | Removes the post from worker feeds at this time without deleting it |
Publish from / Hide after | Settings, Categories | Default window for every post in the category. Post settings override it. |
Admins still see scheduled and hidden posts on the web, marked Scheduled or Hidden.
Priority
Priority | What workers get |
Low, no pop-up | A normal post |
Medium, dismissible pop-up | A pop-up with Dismiss when using SprintFeed in a web browser. It doesn't count as an acknowledgement, and app users don't see it. |
Urgent, must acknowledge | Acknowledgement is required, even if the category doesn't require it |
Acknowledgements and lockout
A post needs acknowledgement when its category has Lockout after on, or its priority is Urgent. On those posts, Lockout behaviour lets you keep the category default, choose Mandatory on first login, or set a custom number of logins.
What the worker does:
Opens the post, marked Required.
Watches the video to the end, if Require the video to be watched before acknowledging is on. This option appears when the post has exactly one uploaded video.
Answers any comprehension questions.
Clicks Acknowledge that I've read this. The badge changes to Acknowledged.
Comprehension questions
Add them under Comprehension questions on any post that requires acknowledgement. Click Add question and choose a type.
Type | How it's marked |
Multiple choice | Must match the correct option |
True / False | Must match the set answer |
Select all that apply | Must select exactly the correct set, with no partial credit |
Free text (ungraded) | Any answer counts. Answers appear in Reports. |
Wrong answers show Not quite, try again and the worker retries until correct. The acknowledge button unlocks once every question is passed.
Edit, delete and restore
The author, any Admin, or a Member with Can edit others can edit and delete. Use a desktop browser, since edit controls don't show on small screens.
Edit: click the pencil, change the fields, then Save. Jobs and alerts opened from Feed are edited on their own page.
Delete: click the bin icon and confirm. Use Undo on the toast, or restore later from Trash.
There are no comment threads on posts. Emoji reactions are the only replies.
